LILLIAN DAVIS HOGAN GALLERIES
The Saint Mary’s University Department of Art and Design manages the Lillian Davis Hogan Galleries for the enrichment of all students and the local community. Professional artists from the Midwest, as well as national and international exhibits, showcase a vast array of media throughout the year. Two student exhibits each year provide art enthusiasts the opportunity to experience the works of current art majors.
The late Lillian Davis Hogan, a former Ziegfeld Follies dancer and New York arts patron, made a significant bequest in her will to support arts programs and students at Saint Mary’s University. Half of the bequest endows a new Lillian Davis Hogan Tomorrow’s Leaders Scholarship with preference to students majoring in or active in theatre arts. The other half of the bequest provides an endowment for the galleries.
The Lillian Davis Hogan Galleries are located in the Toner Student Center at Saint Mary’s University.
